Lots of tutorials on how to do it on windows but I REFUSE to, I'm determined to use Linux, if for no other reason just to learn. Holy cow recording/streaming is confusing. I might have had to do this anyway even if it was set up 100% correct. The problem with doing it this way is the audio is out of sync with the video so I have to add a delay. Then I can select ANOTHER mic source in OBS and have it whatever I want, I have an external mic I use anyway, so it is just 'mic/aux 2'. I don't know if this makes ANY sense, but it was the only way of doing it. So, the capture audio on OBS is played through what it thinks is the mic. What I had to do was go into preferences and put the input for the mic to the capture device. ![]()
